July 7, 2009 Updates
Each person indicted has now entered a guilty plea and there will be no trial. Sentencing is set for later this year.
In the Proctor v. Metropolitan Money store case, a hearing was held on July 6, 2009. At that hearing, the court made the following rulings:
The court denied the Motions to Dismiss filed by Ali Farahpour and Alexander Chaudhry. The case may now proceed to discovery and a trial date will be set.
The court dismissed the counterclaim filed by Ali Farahpour and Alexander Chaudhry against the Proctors.
The court certified a class.
Orders relating to each of these issues will be issued by the Court in the near future.

Court granted the Motion to Dismiss filed by Chicago Title and Southern Title.
Court granted Motion to Dismiss filed by Alexander Chaudhry and Ali Farahpour with leave to amend the complaint.
Case against Wilbur Ballesteros is stayed as a result of his bankruptcy filing.

St. Paul Fire and Marine Insurance Company has filed an interpleader action in federal court. The Case number is 08-02487 RWT
